We're Ope! Nice to meet ya!

At Ope! Brewing Co., beer is first and foremost our passion. That and being 'Midwest Nice." Along with people having a good time. And fluffy, cute pups. And killer live music. Well, we're passionate about a LOT of stuff, and that's just how we are! We're from the blue-collar, hard working city of West Allis and simply want to give people (and pups!) the best beer and the best time for their money. No frills, no fuss, just great vibes and tasty beer.

Our Space (it's HUGE)

We have a full-service bar and taproom with 20(!!!!) taps, plus a stage for live music, tons of TVs for the big game, loads of seating and the biggest bar this side of the Mississippi... K, not really, but it's big. We are UBER dog friendly and love seeing your pups! We don't have a kitchen but have a rotating list of food trucks that will rival some of the best restaurants in the state. Our outdoor bar is awesome in the summers, with large pergolas to keep ya out of the shade and even more seating, including 4 fire pits! We also have 5 bag board lanes and 2 volleyball courts withe a 3rd on the way.

The Brewskis

While not coincidentally the name of our one of our owner's (John) dogs, we got "BREWSKIS" galore. Our full beer roster is over 60 deep and our taps count up to 20. We've got traditional beer, delicisious sours, refreshing seltzers and so much more. From dark and malty to light and refreshing, hazing and bitter, crisp and bright and so much more, we've got any beer to tantalize those taste buds of yours.

The Dirty Stallis

It's often lovingly referred to as "The Dirty Stallis," but this neighboring city of Milwaukee is one of the hottest, best kept secrets in the state. West Allis has a burgeoning food and drink scene and we couldn't be happier to lead the charge on the liquid front. When you come to visit our taproom, you'll be in the heart of West Allis and steps away from some of the best, most affordable food and drink in Southeastern Wisconsin. The people are honest, kind, hard working and incredibly friendly: it's Midwest Nice to a tee.

Sports Leagues

SPORTS! If you like being active (which is a good idea when drinking brewskis), we've got a sports league for you! Our volleyball leagues are incredibly popular and offer challenges to all skill levels. With 6 out of 7 days having volleyball, you'll find your night to hit the sand and spike the crap out of a few drinks... we mean balls. No, scratch that, we mean both! And if volleyball ain't your jam, we got the more casual Bags leagues, too, or cornhole for those of you NOT from Wisconsin. Yes, we call it "BAAAAGS."

Let's talk about the real stars of the show at OPE! Brewing Co.: our live music, events, and all the extra chaos that keeps this taproom buzzin' harder than a bee in a beer garden. We're talkin' no-frills, high-energy vibes where the brews flow, the crowds roar, and the good times hit harder than a Wisconsin winter. This ain't your grandma's bingo night, unless it's Granny Bingo, which we also have! In addition to Tuesday Trivia to Music Bingo, Drunken Volleyball Tournaments, Game Nights and so much more, we've got a lil somethin' somethin' for everyone.

Love the itty bitty pours so you can try more beers. I also love they have craft cocktails on tap that you can leave NA or add whichever liquor you'd like. Everything I tried was awesome! Very cool environment and great service.

Great brewery that captures the essence of Wisconsin. The beer is good and the indoor/outdoor options are great. There's even outdoor volleyball courts and leagues. I love that dogs are allowed inside. They often have a taco truck open outside. My only complaint is that it's pretty pricey, even for craft beer.

Not only is there beer made in house but the staff make you feel so welcome and are super friendly! The food trucks outside make it the perfect spot! Lots of cute dogs, And if you ask nicely you might get a very cool brewery tour! Best spot it town!

What kind of beers do you offer?

We strive to provide delicious beer options for everyone and their Mom. We have a wide variety. We have a couple two three hard seltzers as well.

Can you fill my growler?

We avoid growlers to provide optimal product quality whether you enjoy your purchase today or in a few weeks. We fill can crowlers.  Keep our beer cold. 

Is your taproom dog friendly?

Yes, we are dog friendly indoors and out. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Mischievous pups or those prone to messes are best left at home, yah? Check out our official Pet Policy for more info.

Do you have N.A. (Non-Alcoholic) Beverages?

We have soda pop (Two Brothers products), Hop Water, NA Beer and CBD Beverages. West Allis also has some of the best tap water in the world, try it!

Will you show “The Big Game” on your TV’s?

We will tune in for Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Marquette, Badgers and major sports events (e.g, PGA Tour Majors, Superbowl, World Series, World Cup, etc.). Otherwise, our TV’s will only be on by request.

Can I bring outside food?

For a small fee outside food is allowed.  Reservations with BYO food needs to be approved prior. Otherwise please support our food truck partners!
